BRICS - The Core Power in a Coalition of Nations

The South African president has revealed or claimed revealed that the Saudi Arabia wants to become a part of BRICS. The core grouping in BRICS is the RIC grouping Russia and India, China. And yet if these nations find a way to come together through their common interests they could be able to create a significant grouping of nations. If they issue their own currency and agree to trade in that currency only, then that could represent a significant challenge to the supremacy and hegemony of the US dollar and the US itself.
