We can take personal responsibility for our own behaviors, actions and language. What shocked me a little was when I started to do this work by myself. Most of us carry these biases. Sometimes stitched into our very cultural fabric from an early age. In the 40 years I've been breathing air on this planet, things have changed almost immeasurably. But it's important that there's a recognition and appreciation that many in society are slower when it comes to change. Movements take time. Changing attitudes takes time.
