Are There Any Future Directions for Detection of GI Blood Loss?
At Mayo Clinic, we can use a blood thinner to help find and localize either through angiography with one of our interventional radiologists or endoscopy. I'm most excited about some of the non-invasive options that are coming down the road. We're looking at swallowed capsules that can help tell an emergency physician or a primary care physician in the office.
