The Power of Brain Activity in OCD

I grew up with a tragic sense of being a kind of an evil person not only because of thoughts about doing violence to my own dog but also certain associations of doing violence to other innocent people. When I learned that the brain you know as a machine can act independently for myself and others it turns out our brains send us information as just pure association. For 95% of the population OCD or otherwise that our brains tend to produce these associations in a very spontaneous way. It wasn't until I really started to develop and understanding that this was just natural brain activity that I could start really letting go of my own belief about my character being dark and evil.
