The Banking System of Education
The banking system of education, still in american universities, is the dominant mode of education. The student is expected to reproduce that knowledge, or take that knowledge aperform certain functions. At no stage during this process the student has a say in as to how he or she should be taught,. Or is encouraged to think critically about the content itself, or about the world around them. And that, in a not shell, is what we can call the banking system of Education.
