Open Protocol for Distributed Identity
The idea is an open protoc all right, so it's not decentralized. You could end up with even government or even companies that say, ok, in order to use our service, i need these ten at the stations. So you could create the same exact type of system. I think this is a better way of doing it without revealing private information. It's yet to be seen, but the fact that it would be an open protocol rather than a closed system,. am, is its a mass of net benefit in terms of innovation and what not.
