Is It a Shared Language?
i go to catholic mass over week. And beally, i've been to lutheran services and baptists as well. And i feel like the most acute moments of those services are when it feels like were linguistically somewhere else. Even though catholic mass isn't in latin any more, there's still some left over like syntax that is not the formulation that i would use. That cats consistet with the idea of language being translated into something else for another purpose, one equivalent.
