The Retaking of Paris
From a military point of view, liberating paris was actually a very foolish act. It would have been much easier to let it literally if pat nd the third army had just had not stopped to divert to paris. And i can only say that it was purely out of romantic purposes. When you take a city, you don't just march into the city. You so there lest preus f a couple of things could happen. So we when eisenherr makes that bold military decision to take paris, it is not done lightly. But i like i sad, i think it is one of the few times in military history that somebody did something romantic instead of pragmatic.
