The Relationship Between Philology and Philosophy

Ficino's great project is to reorient the Christian theology towards Platonism. In one case, there are very few moments where Ficino talks about his philology. He takes a small variant and he runs with it. It gives him an opportunity to again, create these pathways and openings for finding a compatibility between Christian theology and Platonism which is his great project.
