The Importance of the American New Deal

The American New Deal was a post-capitalist development. It created both the welfare state and the public sector, which is all around us even today. One of the major sources of that influence was a certain New Dealer who happened to be my father. The model has been decaying and evaporating in the United States but taken up in a lot of other places with the results that we see.
