Movie Review - Is There a Minority in the Movie?
The author is full Asian, it was weird that she would write these half white characters and just completely skip over any sort of internal struggle. I think minority characters in mainstream movies are always doing the overlapping minority. So I was just like disappointed to see that in an Asian authors movie. Basically the movie doesn't really help with Asian masculinity. But it does hype up Asians a little. Hopefully there'll be more boy love interest in the future.
