The CBAM Obligation for Domestic Steel Makers
The reporting obligations for CBAM will actually commence from October 1st, 2023. It starts in 2026 at a very low level, 2.5% of the reported emissions and then moving on to 100% by 2034. So there certainly is an opportunity where this is a program that's not designed to be hitting it at its full impact right away.
