Understanding the Deep Truths of God
The apostles teaching the believers carnality is the result of their own free choice, not of god's determination or rejection of them. It is a responsibility of the believer to turn from their carnality so as to receive the spiritual meat of god's word. Just just like it is the unbeliever's responsibility to turn from fleshly wisdom when confronted by the holy spirit wrought truth.
