Is There a Version of a Data Contract That Everyone Should Be Using?
The choice you should be making is how big is it? How much should you invest in it? I think we're already very powerful and very expressive on the validation side. Huge library of expectations and the fact that you can always build something custom. The place that I'm most interested in pushing on and working on as a team is tooling to get there faster. That includes things like data assistance, including just being really thoughtful about the workflows that people are already using.

Summary
One of the reasons that data work is so challenging is because no single person or team owns the entire process. This introduces friction in the process of collecting, processing, and using data. In order to reduce the potential for broken pipelines some teams have started to adopt the idea of data contracts.
