The Adventure of John Milton

Aminunces: He would have his daughters read to him, maybe Latin and supposedly Greek. And he basically never bothered to teach them Greek. So for hours at a time, one of the other of his daughters would basically just have to make the mouth noises that correspond to the letters on paper. For hours. They didn't know what it meant but they knew the letters and how it was supposed to sound. Could you imagine just like, you had to go read Chinese for three hours to your dad who you don't really like every day? It sounds terrible. That doesn't sound like good fun. What an adventure John Milton is having. Paradise Lost is not even started.
