SQL Academy's blocking internals ultimately go out to when you see called me a sync IO. This is a layer on top of the completely blocking API stuff. And it does not use threads. It uses greenlit. When I went to look at what greenlit actually does, greenlit is compared to with thread, but it's like a thread. So we basically made a greenlit wrapper that emulates a weight without actually using any weight. There's going to be a psycho PG three that we're all going to support that does async IO for Postgres. But since SQL Ocum is already written in sync blocking style, we kept it that way.
