Mormonism Does Not Have a Liberal Alternative

LDS Church has by and large taught a more literalist view of the Bible. Evangelical critics of Mormonism attacks with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other being vulnerable to also needing to defend their own religious beliefs. A common saying among the more hostile ex-moron narratives is why leave one mythology to join another. The reason so many disaffiliate LDS members do not join another Christian nomination is that Christianity overall suffers from nearly identical historic, scientific, and social problems.
