The president byden and i assume this must have been his own decision, owed australia access to america's highly protected nuclear propulsion technology. So what does this say about australia's standing in washington? We used suprise, for example. In two thousand fourtynd 15, we barely considered nucleas because the Americans just said, there's no way we're sharing that information with another country. And it's a bit over stated what they're doing with britain in that regard, but tho, theyjust wen't going to do it. so that took me by surprise.
