The First Rib and the Necker
Kristin: The first rib itself is not necessarily irritated, but it's really irritated out of place because those big muscles that attach to your first rib also come up into the jaw. So there's a lot of things you can do to treat this. Lara: My favorite thing is just getting in there with a strap or your hand, mobilizing, thinking about mobilizing the T spine as well. Kristin: You don't want big zingers or obviously long lasting pain afterwards, but some things will feel like pretty uncomfortable or intense.
