This week on radio lab, i write li to o stories wan senti e to lo. That was good people by david foster wallace, which appeared in the new yorker in january of two thousand seven and became part of his posthumous novel, the pale king. So as i said ore, the story clearly draws on hemingway's 19 27 story, hills like white elephants. But whereas in the couple has a discussion of what to do, a verbal exchange, in this story, the discussion happens only in lane's mind. He anticipates what sherryis going to say to him after the story ends, but we have no way to know for sure
