The Achilles Heel of Arisibo
Arsibo is a huge, 900 ton steerable thing hovering over the dish. It's supported by cables, and that's a little precarious. The instruments on it also need to be kept up and running. And then one things just can a snap. Things just conna snapped exactly in august of 20 21. They didn't think it was worth repairing any more.
