The Rose-Meade Murders

Within an hour of the Rose-meade attack, 30-year-old Chua Leon Yu was dragged from her car in Monterey Park and shot twice with a 22-caliber handgun. Just ten days later, Vincent Zazara and his wife Maxine were asleep at their house in Whittier when they were ambushed by a man who tied up both of them. The murders obviously attracted a great deal of media attention, but no one could have possibly guessed just how many people would fall victim to one of the evilest men ever to walk the streets of California.
