i don't think there's a problem with either of those ideas, but if that's the main use case, that seems very limited. But on the other hand, i do talk to people who are smart, some people i know pretty well. They seem to be devious scammers. And that keeps giving me pause. Like, if i know this many people who are, you know, again, people can be lemings - and so i shouldn't dismiss it out of hand. It's not fit for purpose, in my opinion.
