I'm quite a short and physically unimposing person, so i felt quite threatened by these police officers. And they justified this search on the basis that there had been a lot of burglaries in the area recently. It stuck with me for many years, and and angered me and alienated me from the police as a young man. Ii i, this can't be right. We've itually seen several examples of the police overstepping the mark when they've been given more powers.
