The Why Behind the Why

In Proverbs somewhere it says that the one who sleeps during harvest brings shame. And so when Jesus looks around, He sees the need, He feels compassion, He calls people to join with Him. It's not something we can do alone. Because even though he's sharing this mission with us, the mission remains the mission of God. Not only is it done by God's people, it's done byGod's people in God's power and in God's way. We saw from this passage that actually Jesus has a profound interest in and understanding of people.
