What's the Idea Behind the Diterminal Emulator?

The idea is to replicate that this used to be some main frame, and your computer would send some command over the network link to the computer. And so when you typed a character on the keyboard, it literally needed to sort of send the information that that key represented to a computer somewhere else in order to know what to do with that character. The ideas like, i typed the letter l, and my, my keyboard and my screen like connected to each other, like the key board sends the message to the other room, and then it sends back. Oh, ha, screen, you need to print out that letter on to dislocation or whatever. Yes, exactly.
