The Coddling of the American Mind puts forth the idea that there are three great untruths which have spread far and wide through the education system. Freddie calls this untruth the quest for harm reduction which has eaten every other element of left politics. As part of our current discussion we're just going to look at the first one. The untruth of fragility. What doesn't kill you makes you weaker. It's worth reviewing the arguments in light of the different ways suffering can manifest.
