Introduction

In April last year the Taliban prohibited the cultivation of the poppy from which opium is produced. Now more than a year after this decree they have deployed their anti-narcotics forces across Afghanistan to destroy this year's poppy crops. Later on we'll head to the Bombay Bakery in Pakistan and find out why it might gain national heritage status.
