Adrian Nui was floating around even back in the 90s messing around with this, going from William Sinclair. Even when the exhaust weren't being routed in the diffusers, they were being aimed at that gap between the rear wheel and the diffuser to help to help seal it. And I can't help but thinking this is Nui with the cleverest idea in the world, but not quite the materials to make it happen. Is this the dreaded MP4 18, the Nui's car that was pretty much swept under the carpet,. which became the 2004 car.
