Is Science Fiction a Mythos?
We're trying to purge our society of myth and what we really succeed in doing is just subsuming the need for it. We go through this process of literalizing the mif we can an away e soals of mithof like the iaiss, we can become kind of the purely rational creatures. Is another mythos and one that doesn't really fit us. I think religion is its a secondary stage built on the mephos. But we need these deep miths. It's my personal mission to make people aware of what it is we're doing with these myths.
