The Importance of Running Ultras
I started running ultras in 97 as you pointed out. That actually fit my lifestyle and what I love being outside of hiking and backpacking and camping. When I got into the ultras, it didn't matter what the time was. It's a different challenge. And yeah, the 100 mile just fit me better. You could have so many bad moments in the 100 mile race and you could still come back and run well. But now I don't I don't do too much anymore. My body is kind of worn out. We tried to do PTL last year but we dropped out at about 100 miles. No, it was sleep deprivation. The food, it was hard. He says
