The Force, the Force Is Not, but It's Perfectly Ordinary
The force, as it appeared in the first movie, before people got al crazy with special effects, is actuallyt was borrowed very directly from japanese material. The word for the vor is a phenomenon of the etheric plane which is metaphorically just bove the material plane. It's one step subtler than matter. We pretend in the western world th tisit doesn't exist. Everyone else knows better.
