The Universe Is Expanding
To say that the universe is expanding is not exactly accurate. A much better way to describe it is that the universe are becoming less dense over time. No one wants to hear the universe is getting less dense overTime. So if everything is shrinking, like if all of the atoms in our body and distances between sun and planets were shrinking, then we would also be shrinking as well. That's what dark energy does.
