Jonas Miller: There's something called adverse life experiences. ACEs is kind of the umbrella term that captures a broad range of different experiences things like maltreatment, exposure to violence and parental mental health issues. These kinds of experiences dramatically increase the risk for the development of psychological problems as well as physical health problems,. Not just in childhood, but in adulthood as well. And so there are there are questionnaires for assessing exposure to these different kinds of things.
