How to Dry Horse Poop

With that many horses, you're looking at literally millions of pounds of horse shoet and over half a million gal as of pece. The encampment would have required tens of thousands of hides from tens of ousands of slaughtered live stock. And the wood required for this invasion was absolutely shocking. It can take days to weeks to dry out those horse apples well enough to be used in place of firewood. So i'm inclined to think that they probably just had it carted away from the camp.
