TypeScript just celebrated 10 years, by the way. And I have a theory, which is, in the 2020 era, Microsoft didn't embrace open source. If we're ever going to appeal to the JavaScript community, this has to be open source. We did not know anything about how to do open source. But if we could make the world better for JavaScript users, boy, I could move in an eagle.
