Do Non Human Creatures, Ie, Cats and Dogs Have Free Will?
A large number, may be as much as a half of the class, answered yes to the question about cats and dogs. About an equally large number, actually, may be two thirds, answered no to the question where i would have answered the opposite. I think it's a virtue of my view that it's not clear. Because, after all, if we deny free will to cats and dogs, we must deny it to babies. And again, common sense is conflicted on this choice. Babies make very simple choices. Most of us don't think they make the sorts of choices that a human being does.
