The Importance of Faith
Renek came to faith in Christ during this time and faith became so important to him that he said he would teach philosophy exclusively as a means of leading men to the knowledge of God. He enlisted in the army in 1916 and he died in combat in the infamous Flanders field, but it was through his widow Anna that Edith Stein came tofaith in Christ. That's what a story. Isn't that amazing? Well, you never know. We have literally no idea what might happen in three months from now.
