Travellers and the Horse Festival
Travellers of all sorts of backgrounds tend to gather together and form or re reform relationships with one another at the enormous horse festivals. There are certain customs that clearly have romany roots, that have become pervasive in the traveller world in britain. So it's common among all these groups, like i've been saying, to develop their own cant, their own lingo which might even develop into a distinct language. And there's a heavy romany infusion into the the cant or the jargon all these groups.
