St. Tres Is the Patroness of Missions

St. Tres was declared the co-patron of France along with St. Joan of Arc in 1944. She had a great love for those who were certain missionaries, who were serving in lands where they had never heard the name of Jesus. The pope noticed this connection between Joan on the battlefield and Tres behind the scenes at Carmel. Even though she never left Carmel, she's also the co-Patroness with St. Francis Xavier of the missions.
