Why Now Matters?
There's a dearth of just basic research on women's bodies. We still don't include like pregnant women in most clinical research, because they're considered vulnerable populations. And so that to me is an example of like you need to have a really strong line now for hard tech or deep tech companies. But then for other markets, sometimes it's not that relevant, right? Like if you think about Uber Eats, Stordash, like Instacart, Interest,. A couple of these like consumer social type companies; all of that is really hard to do well without fundamental research underpinning it.
