i only got into a band because i had been asked to play guatarand at an assembly my senior year. And so that's when steve came into the picture. She transferred in as a senior to menlo atherton high when i was a junior. We'd met each other afew times at social events, and there might have been sort of a very subtle mutual attraction,. But then she went off to college the following year, and i stayed and finished high school for one more year. So i didn't see her for a year, you know. But we knew she was a singer, and we known she was at san o, where we were all at college.
