What Is the Mission System?

The mission system is the ensemble of the things that are needed to properly operate the spacecraft and its instruments at its remote destination. One big aspect of this mission is the trajectory. We don't just fly to europe and land. We are going to fly by europe many times. Each fly by is kind of tailor to achieve some of the science as part of the total science o goals of the mission. And then there's the ground data system, which is needed to support all these activities.
