Apple has really done a lot over the years to keep tweaking Safari so it is the the most efficient browser for the Mac and probably for iOS as well. They crank a lot of levers back there to try to to make sure that if you're on a laptop especially that you're getting maximum battery life in fact that's one of the things that they advertise their battery lifeYou'll get x number of hours of browsing time. I agree I just in this applies both to Mac and iOS I mean Apple just does better than any other company.
