Can the Bank of Canada Rake Interest Rates?
There was a lot of speculation ahead of the announcement that the bank of canada was going to raise interest rates. A for the first time since they cut interest rates quite dramatically at the beginning of the pendemic. What will this decision to hold the rate right now, what will that mean for inflation in the coming weeks? It's not as simple as, you know, you raise rates to day, to morrow, suddenly gasoline is really cheap, or groceries don't cost a fortune.
