The Agriculture Committee and the Farm Bill Listening Tour

Informal hearings can be very different from the traditional kind of hearing that we see on television. They allow for a much more open give and take with witnesses and really an opportunity for a conversation with everyday Americans. The Farm Bill listening tour literally took them out of Washington as field hearings like that often do and allowed for a collegial kind of interaction.
