Baba's Idea of Hybridity

Baba's idea of hybridity is that which implies sort of meeting point between, let's say two different cultures. It enables Stuart Hall to see the agents of political change as discontinuous, divided subjects caught in conflicting interests and identities. For Baba, Hall's arguments push for the construction of a counter hegemonic power block through which a socialist party might construct its majority or constituency.
