The Importance of Storybook in Design and Development

As the director of design that helps manage a lot of those relationships and that I can talk both design and dev, I love this because there's so many times we're trying to convince clients the value of a design system. So it's like, okay, how can we bridge that gap and like maybe create like a component library if you don't want to give up like a design system altogether? That was another process thing in the audit process. The minute we saw that visually in storybook, we were like, why do we have so many rating components? Why do we has so many buttons? Maybe we can tweak it.
