14 FIFA officials charged with money laundering, racketeering and fraud. They were involved in a 24-year scheme to enrich themselves through the corruption of international soccer. According to estimates from the US Justice Department, the 14 indicted FIFA members had accepted $150 million over two and a half decades. The beautiful game, as many had feared, was dirty to its very core.
