The Poem as a Friend
Lana Turner has collapsed is a poem written by Frank Quahara. It's one of the few poems that I can't recall it word for words but I know it well enough to just be standing at a bus stop and go through it in my head. Often I find myself reading this poem when things are a bit crap or like if I feel like I'm really struggling with something because there's a likeness in the fact that everything seems to be kind of going wrong in this poem.
